About Alvin Family Dental and Orthodontics
Our Alvin Family Dental team strives to provide each patient with the highest quality dental care in Alvin, TX and the surrounding area. We aim to be your family dentist for years to come, and we do that by delivering the best care using modern technology. We provide a wide array of dental services including general, restorative, cosmetic, and pediatric dentistry as well as orthodontics. For anxious patients, we provide sedation to help them relax. We never want nerves to keep you from getting the care you need.
Our History
The office was opened in August of 2014, by Dr. Jafri under the council that there was a need for a dental office that serves the residents of Brazoria County and the surrounding area. We work closely with Dr. Kazmi at UTMB and Dr. Zaidi with Focus Psychiatry.

Meet Our Team
Meet Dr. Ahmad Jafri
Dr. Jafri began his career as a dental assistant in the U. S. Army, where he gained invaluable experience in military dental care. This role provided him with a solid foundation in dental procedures and patient care, fostering a disciplined and comprehensive approach to dentistry. Following his service in the army, Dr. Jafri pursued further education and training to become a licensed dentist in the United States.
Dr. Jafri has had a diverse career, working for both the federal government and the state of Texas. His roles in these capacities have equipped him with a deep understanding of public health policies and the nuances of providing dental care in various governmental settings. These experiences have honed his skills in dealing with a wide range of dental issues and patient needs, from routine check-ups to more complex dental treatments.
Currently, Dr. Jafri is in private practice, offering his dental expertise to the communities of Alvin and Rosharon Texas. In his private practice, he continues to deliver high-quality dental care utilizing his extensive background and experience to ensure the best outcomes for his patients.
Meet Dr. Abuzar Siddiqui
I began my dental career by completing the first part of my dental schooling in Pakistan in 2000. Later, I pursued advanced education in the United States, graduating from the prestigious NYU Langone. With approximately a decade of practical experience in dentistry, I have established myself as a knowledgeable and skilled professional in the field.
My commitment to continuous learning led me to further specialize with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2019. I joined this practice in 2018 and became a valued member of the team. My patients and colleagues appreciate my sunny personality and positive demeanor. I’m particularly known for my unique approach to patient care-often signing to my patients, which creates a warm and comforting environment that helps to ease anxiety and makes dental visits more enjoyable.
Meet Shereka LaDay, Dental Assistant
Shereka is not just a name but a whole personality that flows with its vibrancy. She truly has never met a stranger and it shows how inviting she is with every patient she interacts with. Her strengths amongst many are developing instant relationships with her patients. She is very experienced and is liked by both patients and doctors. Shereka likes to travel and makes new friends everywhere she goes. She’s been with me from the start and will hope she remains for a very long time to come.
Meet Angie Fernandez, Dental Assistant
Angie has been a dedicated member of the Alvin Family Dental team for eight years. She began her career there immediately after graduating from the dental assisting program at Alvin Community College. Over the years, Angie has developed a strong bond with her colleagues, finding immense satisfaction in the collaborative and supportive environment they provide. She takes great pride in her work, always striving to perform her duties to the best of her abilities. Her passion for her job and the people she works with is evident in her enthusiastic attitude toward her daily responsibilities.
Angie truly loves her workplace and the camaraderie she shares with her coworkers, making Alvin Family Dental a palace she looks forward to coming to every day.
Jessica Bales, Office Manager
Jessica Bales embarked on her career with Alvin Family Dental and Orthodontics in September 2017, initially taking on the role of a front desk receptionist. Her dedication and hard work were recognized, leading to her promotion to office manager in May 2019. Jessica’s connection to the community is deep-rooted as she has the unique experience of working where she grew up. She cherishes this aspect of her job, stating, “I am proud to work in the town I grew up in. I just love the small-town feel”. This sentiment highlights her appreciation for the close-knit community atmosphere, which she finds rewarding and fulfilling in her professional journey.
Meet Felicia Leija, Treatment Plan Coordinator
Felicia joined us in 2019. She had no prior dental experience, but that did not deter her from excelling in her newfound field. She started in our Savannah location but due to the growing needs in Alvin, she moved over and ever since she hasn’t looked back. Felicia and office manager Jessica work in tandem and were neighbors at one point providing a dynamic duo for our Alvin office. Felicia’s world is her only daughter and she has a large family that she enjoys spending her free time with.
Meet Sara Ramos, Front desk receptionist
Sara started her dental career in 2013 while living in Illinois. Since moving back to Texas she joined our team as a floater providing much-needed support for both of my locations. Sara has fit in from day one as if she has been with us the whole time. She has a calm and collective demeanor which is an asset in our hectic office environment at times. In her free time, Sara and her two children enjoy going to the park and spending much-needed time together.
